We are located on Cornfield Terrace, next to Eastbourne's Queens Tennis Ground and very close to Eastbourne College. Our Eastbourne shop features a stunning artisan delicatessen offering a huge range of delicacies from the UK and Europe, as well as many local items from Sussex and Kent. Our cheese and charcuterie

counter is second to none, offering a fantastic range of high quality cheeses and cured meats and we are the only shop in Eastbourne stocking an impressive range of daily baked artisan breads. We also offer an impressive range of cheese accompaniments including a wide choice of crackers, chutneys, jams, oils, vinegars, nuts, olives and fruits. We are the only delicatessen in Eastbourne and pride ourselves on promoting quality local Sussex products.

We’ve been loading the shop recently with stacks of beautiful original art….pictures galore at really affordable prices with many staring at just £15 each. Oil paintings, watercolours, gouache’s , lithographs, copperplate etchings, pencil drawings, charcoals….the choice is vast. And they’re all vintage, framed & ready to hang. Hope to see some of you today, particularly as the weather is so good!!😊

You have to hunt hard to find good decorative antiques in Eastbourne, but if you’re on your way to the theatres or the Towner Gallery, you shouldn’t have to look too hard!! We’re on the corner of Cornfield Terrace & Blackwater Road and open Thurs, Fri & Sat 10am - 4pm and have 3 rooms full of beautiful ceramics, paintings, glassware, furniture as well as lots of other very desirable treasures!! We also have lots of wonderful artisan food products & a great collection of stunning estate bottled wines. Why not have a wander down today if you’re in town with some time on your hands?

One of the last beautifully designed shops left in Eastbourne from its golden days. We know time moves on, but it's lovely to see the odd glimpse of the elegant side of old Eastbourne!!

Yes, we’re back at Antiques by the Seaside this weekend - all day Sat & Sun 8am - 3pm with double the amount of stallholders than the one in April!! The weather is looking great tomorrow (and sort of OK on Sunday) so we’re hoping for a big turnout!! It’s also the Beer & Cider festival so you could even do a bit of both!! There’s plenty to eat and drink on Victoria Place, we have live music throughout the afternoon & it’s FREE entry, so what’s not to love? Finally it’s starting to happen a bit in Eastbourne 😀

Apparently there were over 50 antiques shop in Eastbourne at one time…..now there’s just a couple!! And there certainly aren’t many shops left with original shop fronts like this!!

And it's Saturday again!! We've been filling the shop with beautiful new stock.....lots of wonderful things with fabulous stories, made by real artisans & mostly one offs.
However, that doesn't mean expensive as we prefer to move our stock swiftly so price our items to sell, taking the view that it's better to take a small profit and sell lots, rather than run a 'museum' with everything priced to the max!!

A great launch to the first weekend of Antiques by the Seaside. A big thanks to all of the traders who joined us for the opening weekend & lovely to hear that they all did some good business!! .neameof.the.ocean.shop
to name a few. We were really lucky to have such a great, sunny weekend too 1
The next market will take place on the 16th & 17th May and we're hoping it will be bigger & better than the first one, with more dealers joining us & even more customers searching for
treasures. We were also very pleased to hear that all the local businesses on Victoria Place were very busy. Please tell all of your fiends and acquaintances about our new market as the more the word gets out the better. It was so good to see Eastbourne looking so vibrant & cosmopolitan & has to be the way forward. Thanks again to everyone who supported this & fingers crossed for more sun & dry weather at the next market in May.
