K&C'S MARCH MotM: Aya 🍂🧣🧶

After going through the backlog of the Member of the Month submissions (link in bio to send in yours!), we found Aya's beautiful mosaic crochet blanket 😍

We absolutely adore the patterns and the floral design; hopefully Aya would be able to send us a mini-update on how the final piece looks now!

Congrats Aya on being March's Member of the Month, and we hope you continue to share your gorgeous work with the world !!

Valentines Cupcake Decorating 💌🧁🧶 !!!

Join us during our usual Stitch & Bitch time on Tuesday 10th February, for a Valentines cupcake decorating event!*

A ticket is required to join, and as they are limited, be sure to get your ticket quick! Free tickets go on sale on 4th February 🎟️🎟️🎟️

*PS: Our usual Stitch & Bitch will be going on as normal in the Chaplaincy – this event just means there'll be a smaller table for those who have gotten tickets for cupcake decorating too!

K&C Society's JANUARY Member of the Month is Flora! 🧣🌛🌀

Flora has knitted this beautiful teal Sophie Hood, with her saying she "really enjoyed making it as it was very challenging for a beginner" but overall, it was definitely "worth it"!

Our society and .uk will be providing FREE unlimited tea and one cake/tart per person, however, there will be limited spots available !!!

CROCHET BOOKMARKS EVENT 🧶📚

This Thursday, Knit & Crochet Soc AND Book Club Soc are proud to present our joint event: making crocheted bookmarks!

We think it's especially important to take small breaks between studying for exams to have some time for yourself — so why not join us this Thursday 4th Dec for a cozy evening?!

We'll be in the warm setting of Black Medicine Coffee ☕ (), where we will provide an array of yarns and hooks for you to borrow to make your own small bookmark! Come and join us for warm drinks and cozy crochet event.

No matter whether you're a beginner or advanced, all skills are welcome!

Tonight’s session will be a spooky movie screening in the spirit of Halloween 👻🎃🧛‍♂️

We will be in the chaplaincy auditorium as usual from 7-9pm. Dressing up is encouraged but not mandatory! This is a members only event, so make sure you’ve bought your membership!

K&C Society's MAY Member of the Month is Jasmine! ✳️🐦🪻

Our very own Social Secretary, Jasmine, has knitted this beautiful blue jumper using the 'Birdsong Pattern' by Maschenwunder (on Ravelry) 🪽🪽🪽

She describes the process as "quite complicated", but being "so happy with the finished results" 🌟 We love the intricate details of the knitted project, and the soothing, blue colour combination too!!
