Back with a bang 💥 our suspended flower clouds, created onsite for A + D’s coastal wedding last weekend.

Orchestrating seasonal stems at this scale definitely has its challenges, but when it all comes together after months of planning, it truly is the best feeling. Lucky to finally have the chance to feast on a whole heap of springtime ingredients, which were collated especially for these playful celebrations.

So here it comes, our grower thank you list…

Inspired by - flowers & vans 🤝

Sun and rain, car parks and road sides. Safely packing, transporting and unloading florals is a huge part of all our events, and something we forget to share very much of. So here’s a few snaps from the archives over the last few years, a joy to work with the most incredible team whilst under the tightest of timelines. These were taken all across the UK… including Cheshire, Staffordshire, Bath and Scotland. Where’s our van off to next I wonder?

It’s almost time for our spring buttonholes, always happy for an excuse to squeeze in sweet little frits, snowdrops or bluebells.

It’s been a quick paced year so far, prepping for the year ahead and also opening our books for 2027. Opting out of Valentine’s (which is out of season here in the UK) and generally not providing any retail flowers this year feels like a pretty scary decision, but will allow us space to focus on the flowers we love to create the most.

With the extra time, Bryonia is starting to plan out more face to face workshops and ways to learn about creating with our seasonal flowers locally, so stay tuned for more details coming soon.

January hibernations are officially over, and we’re feeling well overdue to get back to it. Feasting on colour combinations, a studio filled to the brim and working with our spring favourites (here’s looking at you ranuncs)

Planning has been well underway for the year ahead during the down time and our diary is open for 2027 consultations, of which we’ve already had some lovely conversations about our kind, seasonal and Scottish flowers. If you’re looking for something special and considered for your event, wedding or celebration, then we would love to hear from you 💌

A handful of our favourite bridal bouqs from 2025

I always find it’s useful to capture the movement of bouquets on film snippets, to help visualise how they will wiggle and bounce their way down the aisle.

For Lillie 🧡

Grabbed a quick snap outside in the grounds of chapel, just before dropping these by to the bridal suite. Always a joy to create a playful, wild & cottage garden style bouquet with seasonal Scottish flowers.

Announcing Bryonia: Flukra

There’s something magical about the first snowfall… the quiet, the soft light and the sense that winter has truly arrived. At Bryonia, we’ve captured that feeling through Flukra, a seasonal offering of floral creativity and mindful making for our festive celebrations.

Throughout November and December, we invite you to join us in embracing the upcoming season:

Workshops
Private and locally hosted wreath making sessions, in and around Edinburgh. Perfect for friends, families, or small groups wanting to share the joy of the season together.

Gifts & Commissions
Thoughtfully designed winter adornments, bespoke floral gifts and other seasonal pieces to bring warmth and beauty to your home or business.

Design & Decor
From intimate gatherings to larger festive celebrations, we offer our design services, seasonal styling and decor infused with natural textures. Always celebrating the quiet magic of winter, with close attention to detail.

Each piece we look to create is softly crafted to capture the stillness, joy, and beauty of the season. So whether you’re joining a workshop, commissioning a unique creation for your space, Flukra is about celebrating slowing down, nature and connection.
