We’re delighted to share that Simpson Studio has been appointed to lead the redesign of , a historic hotel on the site of a former farmhouse dating back hundreds of years.
Set against the backdrop of Lyzzick Wood, an ancient woodland whose name derives from the Old English for light oak, the hotel’s story is deeply entwined with the landscape and history of the Lake District.
In these early stages, possibilities abound. Our moodboard represents a conversation: exploring palette, texture and atmosphere as we define a design that feels both timeless and new.
At Simpson Studio, we believe hotels must be both sanctuary and stage. Places that are rooted in their setting, responsive to brand and crafted for comfort. From boutique retreats to international resorts, our work blends residential intimacy with commercial rigour, creating experiences that are immersive, efficient and built to last.
