finished the earlier than expected! I also didn't wait any couple of weeks before weaving all the ends and washing it! It's already drying and should be ready soon!

I like this sweater a lot, but don't wear it very often. The sleeves are good length or that's what I thought at the time. Unfortunately they keep rolling up, and it's very frustrating to have draft around wrists! ❄️

I didn't take any notes (!) so it would be a challenge trying to extend the cuffs. I may just do it anyway, what worse can happen? 😎

In the meantime I just keep pulling them down hoping they stretch a bit 🤏🤭

Last year (!) and that was only a few days ago I posted a story of my ready jumper.

I loved it, but... decided to do a few tweaks:
• slightly wider cuffs
• longer body
• change the bind off from Italian to tubular. Somehow the first one ended up being a bit too tight for my liking.

The combination of Drops yarn works well, but more on this in the next post.

The scarf has been worn during a day out at the Edinburgh Christmas market and it passed the test! Mostly for it's softness and not being itchy than the warmness 😅

To make this beauty I used:
📝 a simple no purl ribbing pattern
🧶 merino yarn (3.5 balls)
🥢 3mm needles
📐 final length: approx. 1.9m

The scarf has grown a lot over the last few days - being off work definitely makes a big difference! 😁

The merino yarn from has passed the test - softness approved by Mr L 😅

Surprisingly, my husband doesn't have anything knitted by me (forgotten socks and now too big jumper do not count, right?).

Decided to change it and knit him a scarf for Christmas, but when I started it, I didn't think I was gonna also knit a jumper for myself!

Now with only a few days left, I'm not sure it'll be ready, but not giving up, not yet! 🤞🏼

Each year I plan to knit a Christmas Jumper, and each year I push it back.

This year is the year! Thanks to and their December challenge I decided to eventually knit myself my very own Christmas sweater, and also support a good cause.
