Another successful project completed in Edinburgh on a Category C listed property!
Our team carried out double glazed upgrades to the existing sash and case windows, improving energy efficiency while maintaining the traditional character of the building. As the property is listed, we also handled the Listed Building Consent application on behalf of the client, ensuring everything met the council’s requirements before work began.
As part of the project, we also manufactured and installed a new set of double doors, carefully designed to fit into the existing frame with a fixed fanlight above to match the original style of the property.
Once installation was complete, our painter carried out a full internal and external paint finish, bringing everything together perfectly. The client also requested a stained finish on the bay window rather than paint, and the final result really highlights the natural beauty of the timber.
A great transformation that respects the character of this historic building while giving the homeowner the benefits of modern glazing.
If you’re considering upgrading windows in a listed or traditional property, our team can guide you through the process from consent to completion.
