A fresh new chapter for this modern Victorian elegant kitchen recently completed as part of an ongoing interiors project I’m delighted to be working on.
The aim was to strike a fine balance between heritage architecture and confident contemporary design and curation.
Anchored by deep, dramatic forest green cabinetry to frame the room, we chose this bold, heavily veined white marbled splashback from Claybrook UK to sit above the crisp white quartz worktop. Bringing warmth into this north-facing room, the walls are washed in soft, delicate Pink Ground from Farrow & Ball creating a beautiful contrast against the dark units and striking blue Aga. Accents of warm copper and wooden flooring, bring added warm tones into this newly refurbished family kitchen used for entertaining and serious cooking.

I loved bringing together the details - from overall design direction to the finishing touches and photography styling - to help create a space that feels considered, welcoming and sophisticated thanks to the impeccable taste of my lovely, open-minded clients.

Feeling rejuvenated and re-energised after a gorgeous few days with my daughter in the stunning city of Seville. Such a rich tapestry of exquisite arabesque and moorish architecture. Stunning bejewelled ceramic designs front the majestic buildings and lush shady gardens to wander through during the heat of the day. My second time here and still feel I’ve only scratched the surface - I’ll be back for sure.

Delighted to share photos of this recently finished en-suite bathroom project for my lovely clients in Aberdeen.
Designing for small spaces can be challenging so creating a clear brief with mood boards was essential. Keeping the sanitary ware and vanity unit wall-hung to maximise the floor space; incorporating warm brushed brass for a luxe feel; using a soft light cohesive colour palette and simple yet sophisticated and varied tiles for a touch of character, were all key components.
Previously a dark and outdated en-suite, we were presented with the ideal opportunity to transform the space into something special.
Working closely with Laings of Inverurie, they were a pleasure from start to finish, hugely helpful and made the whole project run smoothly.

Starting to pull ideas together for a beautiful master suite scheme. The key words underpinning the design concept are:
Calm, Happy, Relaxed, Energised
To give this new extension a more established feel and add depth, a textured grass cloth style wallcovering will work beautifully behind a soft upholstered headboard. Layers of plain textured fabrics (velvets, boucle, fine linen, wool) will bring calmness. The surprise element (my client’s favourite colour) will be pops of vibrant pink on trims, a couple of scatter cushions and accent chair. The rural setting of this home will be gently echoed with touches of botanical green.
Just at the beginning of this one - excited to create this beautiful master suite. Lots of updates to come.

Such a pleasure to stage for sale this elegant and handsome Victorian home in Edinburgh’s West End. Delighted to share it had a record number of viewings and went Under Offer in less than a fortnight from hitting the market.

Sophisticated dark green with brushed brass door fittings and natural wood flooring, is the backdrop to this dining kitchen I’m working on just now.
Feeling overwhelmed on the creative side and surround by building works, they called for creative guidance, design input and a boost of inspiration.
A stunning West End property in Edinburgh with incredible period features, here’s a taster of how things will look once finished.
In this north-facing kitchen we chose Farrow & Ball’s gorgeous gentle neutral ‘pink ground’ to bounce soft warm light around the room and
contrast beautifully with the huge, marble-effect porcelain wall tiles from Claybrook Studio. The vintage leather bar stools add depth and warmth
and smoked glass pendant lights from Heal’s over the table. Looking forward to sharing photos once it’s all finished.

My first moodboard post of 2026! New bathroom project now well underway for clients up north. Due to complete next week, so I’m excited to share photos and full details once it’s finished. Light, airy, warm and quietly stylish was the brief; with a touch of hotel luxury.
