A tiara fit for a grand occasion, and a necklace for every day that follows.
This exquisite gold and silver mounted diamond tiara is a remarkable survivor of the Victorian era, circa 1890. Its fleur de lys and swag design carries 7.70ct of old-cut diamonds, set in a classic combination of silver to heighten their brilliance and gold to bring warmth to the piece. Cleverly, it converts into a necklace, giving its wearer two treasures in one.
The tiara remains in its original fitted box, lined in velvet and cream silk and embossed with the name of its maker, Frederick Berry of Jermyn Street, London, a detail that adds real provenance to an already exceptional piece.
