There's something especially lovely about making tiny things. 🤍

Every little hat and pair of booties I make is crocheted by hand, with the hope that it will become part of a little one's first memories.

This is my Buttercup Baby Set, one of my favourite baby creations. I hope it brings warmth, comfort and a smile to the family who welcomes it home.

This is one of my favourite moments when I'm crocheting.

Before the photographs are taken... before the piece is finished... it's just me, my crochet hook, some yarn and a little bit of quiet time.

I find there's something very calming about watching an idea slowly come to life in my hands. It's never rushed, and no two pieces ever turn out exactly the same.

I think that's one of the things I love most about handmade.

A little look behind the scenes at MTD Crochet 🤍

Before each finished piece appears, there is always a quiet beginning — yarn on the table, hooks ready, colours being chosen and ideas slowly coming to life.

This is where many of my handmade pieces start: with a ball of yarn, a little time, and a love for creating something unique.

The yellow yarn, hooks and little butterfly pins are all part of the process, and every detail helps turn a simple idea into a finished crochet piece.
