Hello from Emi & Bean...

Hello, I’m Gayle & I run “Emi & Bean” a small interiors based company close to Edinburgh. This business came about via the frustration I felt when searching for home decor or textile based items for our recently renovated home. I had a strong vision of what I wanted bedding wise or decor wise for children’s rooms and I searched everywhere, but to no avail. It seemed that the only way I could create the rooms I had dreamed of was to design my own pieces.. So I did. Now I am not against buying on the high street and I have plenty of lovely little bits from here and there and “trendy” pieces from the likes of big super stores etc... but when it came to lampshades, bedding, shelving and prints I knew I had to get creative..

We started out specialising in providing interior pieces just for kids, but in recent months, I am getting constant requests for double bedding and throws, cushions and artwork so we have decided to make the leap and provide a range of interior textiles, art and bespoke shelving for every part of your home. We want to bring our unique designs, colour, print and pattern into your lives and your beautiful houses. We are a small business, but hope to make a big impact by offering something “different” to the items mostly found by quick trip to the shops.

Over the next 12 months we will be expanding our personally designed, hand cut and hand printed designs onto cushions, throws, bedding, light shades, artwork and more.. and we even have an eye on pretty bits for your kitchen too.. so stay with us for the journey as we promise it will have something for everyone.
