In 2013, we traveled and explored the region where Jacek grew up in Poland and Czech Republic where we fell in love with the beauty, precision and skills that are carefully honed into all our products. Seeking out and developing a relationship with our makers to support sustainable businesses and traditional crafts, TravellingBasket.co.uk has created access to these beautifully hand crafted products with the knowledge of their origin and the skills passed through generations. Our baskets are lovingly woven with a passion for their heritage, working with exciting and colourful varieties of willow grown and harvested locally to bring the best of this traditional craft to you. We work with and support a local network of artisans to provide a range of traditional designs as diverse as your needs, including our stunning range of pottery, household goods and seasonal crafts. Disclosure: perhaps not for those who cannot handle grass in their bouquets but we’re loving this vibe! Absolutely enormous globe artichoke’s on the flower bar today while stock lasts! These creature like flowers are a wonder, with a purple blue bloom if they open (they don’t always… remember they are a piece of nature and we can’t always predict how it will go) and they dry perfectly to create those much loved forever stems to cherish around the home. Architectural, sculptural, pure magic it doesn’t get much better than this! Look at the smiles it’s brought to our teams faces just meeting them again- it’s the first delivery we’ve had this year! Yay for seasonal magic.
