Itā€™s definitely mitt weather today! šŸ„¶

Dug out my trusty McWilD mitts to wear to work this morning, a wee bit of warmth and a lovely pop of colour to start the day.

These have been my go-to mitts for quite a few years now and still going strong! They are made with merino wool, so no itching and they stand the test of time.

Cosy hands, fingers free, and ready for whatever the day brings...mine will start with coffee ā˜•ļø

A wee throwback to February 2023ā€¦ needles everywhere and something cosy taking shape! šŸ§¶

Here I am knitting gloves with double-pointed needles. It might look like a spot of needle juggling, but thereā€™s a rhythm to itā€”one built through practice, patience and plenty of stitches.

Keeping the tension even, working around the needles and shaping something to fit a handā€¦ thereā€™s so much expertise tucked into a pair of handmade gloves.

Every single stitch worked by hand. No shortcuts, just time, skill and careā€”and a lovely splash of McWilD colour.
