Launching this weekend at

This 100% Merino yarn is so soft and bouncy and it’s a non superwash yarn so perfect for colourwork.

Working away on my Wildflower Tee as a sample of this base 🤞 I’ll manage to finish it!

I’ll officially launch this base on the website on 9th September along with a big stock update.

Heads up I’m taking a week off after Portsoy so there will be no shipping between Fri 28th Aug - Sun 6th Sept.

As most of you will be aware I no longer have my workshop so I can no longer host visitors.

While I know this is disappointing to those who loved visiting the workshop and I really miss it too, this was a positive move for the whole family.

Hopefully in the not too distant future you’ll be able to squish my yarn locally 🤫and I’ll be at on Saturday 29th August 10-4pm.

I’m feeling very lucky that we found somewhere I can continue to work from and run the business online. I know it’s not the same but it’s what’s right for me at the moment. 🥰

I like to block colourwork yokes purely because it makes a pretty picture. 😍

To be fair it also helps to check the fit as I am about to separate for the sleeves.

This is the by Elenor Mortensen and I’m using my new non superwash merino base which is perfect for colourwork.

I’ll have this sample with me at at the end of the month.

I’ll be launching the NSW base alongside an enzyme treated yarn which has less environmental impact than superwash yarns but it takes the dye and speckles beautifully.

As always, there’s no such thing as a silly question so ask away and I’ll have a blog post on superwash vs non superwash next week too.
