You can book a space from the website for either the afternoon or evening session at the Buchan Hotel.

Bring along whatever crafty project you are working on and I’ll take a small selection of yarn too - please let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like to see. X

The last Treat Box was called Flower Show and a riot of pinks, oranges and dark w**e speckles. 🌺

We had treats from The Eden Collections ®️ Wellness & Lifestyle Brand GNAW Chocolate Blendsmiths Seònaid | SH Designs | Stationery, Card, Gift Shop | Est. 2019 and a little bag of buttons too.

The November Treat Box will be available to pre order until the 5th November with delivery at the end of the month and all the treats will last til Xmas in case you’d like it as Xmas pressie.

I’ve chosen a striking image of the Milky Way as inspiration for next months box.

After an amazing few days at The Glasgow School of Yarn I’ve finally put my stock room back together, done a stock take and added lots of lovely new hand dyed yarn to the website!!

The Clyde Arc colourway has sold out, but you’ll find a pre order on the site for that one.

You’ll be glad to know, the cute wee stitch markers from Clare • Unwrapped Yarn have been added too!

What a fabulous new venue for The Glasgow School of Yarn

The lighting in the Briggait was perfection 👌

But it’s the people who really make this show what it is. 🥰 The volunteers who humph in bags of stock, deliver you coffee and cake and generally just look after us, are wonderful.

Antje, it was our best ever GSOY and we loved it! Thank you so much for what you’ve created.

Finally, I’m really sorry I sold out of the Clyde Arc show special, I knew I hadn’t dyed enough but was hindered by my sore hands - however there is a pre order open right now so you can choose your ‘Squinty Bridge’ yarn on whatever base you like!

The Glasgow School of Yarn Day One!

What a venue! The light was gorgeous and we were super busy.

Unfortunately there’s not much left of the show special, Clyde Arc (we just discovered it’s called the squinty bridge!!) However, it is available to pre order on the website homepage.

I knew I needed more but lost a few days of dyeing with my sore hands - I’m so sorry!

We are back in the Briggait tomorrow 11-5 (and from 10 for deluxe tickets)

The Clyde Arc is one of two new colourways dyed especially for The Glasgow School of Yarn this weekend.

The darkest night sky blue with bright pops of pink and spearmint green will be available at the show on a variety of bases and also as a pre order on the website for anyone who can’t make it along.

Hannah came to my rescue today and helped twist and label the last of the yarn and left with a skein to cast in a sock. No doubt it’ll be done by the time we arrive tomorrow!!

Please remember there will be no shipping Fri 9th - Mon 12th Oct while we are away. Xx
