We have recently been doing very well with the Greenhouse fabric book from Prestigious Textiles Here is another pair of triple pleat curtains in Chatsworth Cornflower. The blues and greens in this book are so lovely and the small pattern repeats lend themselves to shorter curtains or smaller items such as scatter cushions or tie backs.

These pretty triple pleat curtains were recently made for some lovely new customers of ours. They hang from Jones Interiors Cathedral poles in Cotton colourway. The poles are 30mm diameter and have plain ball finials. The fabric is from Ashley Wilde.

We have recently finished two pairs of curtains for a newly renovated bedroom. The two windows are completely different, so a lot to think about.
The small window at the front of the house is set back in a deep recess so the curtains aren’t easy to reach, because the bed is immediately in front of the of the window so as to enjoy the view through the balcony doors. So, one very tiny pair of curtains and one floor length pair.
To solve the issue of reaching the small curtains, the customer decided to have a motorised curtain track so the curtains are operated by remote control.
The fabric chosen is Prestigious Textiles Kentwell Cornflower and the curtains have a double pleat heading to make a neater stack. The curtains are lined and interlined so making the stack as small as possible in the front window was important. This was achieved by using a track from Evans Textiles where the stack depth could be fine-tuned by hand once the curtains were hung.

What a summer we are having! And down here on the south coast we are making waves - quite literally. New curtains for a new build.

The lounge fabric is Villa Nova Mezza and the bedroom is Clarke & Clarke Linoso which both drape beautifully in a wave heading style. More to come soon…

These pretty little bay window curtains have been enhanced with a pair of handmade, crescent-shaped tie backs. The tie backs are self-piped and lined. The fabric is Prestigious Textiles Camarillo Rumba.
