Ever since I can remember Gillies and Mackay, the Sheds, was a thing. A place where everyone I knew and loved, lived and worked. At the heart of The Sheds stands, to this day, 2 men. Dad and Grant.

Did I tell you I turned 40 this month? It's been emotional as I've been playing the role of a 32 year old for quite sometime. Came as a shock to many... Something else that's aging with grace and decorum is our 30 year guarantee 3 Tier Workshops...

Pictured: is a 16' x 10' with uPVC Door & Windows + a 4' Veranda, Canopy (an absolute godsend when it's lashing it down with rain).

This particular build required planning permission too - which, by the way - we take care of as well.

All in circa £13,500.00 (2026)

Does that price seem a bit mental for a Shed? You'd be right in any other circumstance - but when it's a G&M, it's 3 Layer Cavity Wall and a 30 year guarantee so, instead of buying like 5 in 30 years, just buy the one, the RIGHT one.

We're fully booked for 2026, however there's a couple of spaces left in January 2027. All our buildings and made in our own workshop, to order. And it's us that deals with the full process start to finish. Feels good right?

THE HALF BUILD. Just like Snape, this is the ultimate cool guy. It's all the structural integrity of a Blackstone but the insides are finished by you. Ideal for those who are right handy, but would prefer to leave the engineering to the G&M wizards.

What does finished by you mean?

The whole build is completely functional and entirely self sufficient as it is - modelling characteristics from a 3T Workshop - However, it absolutely fit for upgrading by adding insulation and lining internally.

Not one to cause alarm but... I think Kieran's booked out 2026 - He tells me there's a Shed space in December, however I'm in the Schedules and it quite clearly has a name on it.

I'll not call it right now, maybe by Cath's 70th Birthday (Wednesday) we'll have a double celebration for 2026?!

Here's a bonny Close Board and Strap Highlander Garage which, true to it's name, is doing very well. Especially with the re-locaters finding their dream home in Highlands. :D

At G&M it is! And it's actually a fab time to do it. Our prices go up in the new year, so a January delivery means you beat the price increase. It isn't anything drastic but for a project this size that already costs a pretty penny it makes a difference.

We've got 6 January delivery spaces left, all at 2026 pricing:
Single Garage or Workshop: 13th, 15th, 22nd and 29th
Double Garage: 19th & 20th and 26th & 27th

Book by the 30th November to secure 2026 pricing. And remember that we do the FULL project, so no added stress over Christmas.
