A NEW HOME. THE SAME PRINCIPLES. 🔥
After 35 years in the fireplace industry, serving customers across Essex and beyond, we’re bringing our experience, craftsmanship and concepts to our new home.
Yesterday, we closed our Battlesbridge wood-burning showroom for the last time. Tomorrow, Monday 26 October, Scarlett Fireplaces opens its new centre of excellence at Grapnells Farm, Wallasea Island, Rochford.
Our new premises bring together our workshop, warehouse, stove and fireplace displays, with room to develop the ideas that will take our family business forward.
And what a setting to do it in, within the RSPB’s Wallasea Island rewilding project.
Over the years, we’ve designed and built fireplaces, restored historic chimneys, explored environmental practices and tackled the challenges that come with buildings that rarely fit neatly into an installation manual.
That experience, care and attention to detail come with us.
Like many independent businesses, we’re adapting to dysfunctional and dystopian times. This move gives us the space and flexibility to strengthen our future around what we do best.
For our customers, all our services continue: wood-burning stoves, fireplace design and construction, chimney and flue work, servicing, sweeping and ongoing support.
Same family team. Same commitment to doing things properly.
Visits and collections at Grapnells Farm will be by appointment. We’ll continue coming to you for surveys and installations, with deliveries also available.
We’re now in a stronger position and excited about what comes next, including projects further exploring responsible wood burning, renewable energy and building efficiency. There’s plenty more to come.
To our customers, suppliers, fellow tradespeople, friends and family: thank you. Your support has helped us build this business, and we’re looking forward to sharing its next chapter with you.
Welcome to our new home of wood burning. 🔥
