As you can see, we are now closed. Thanks for nine years of lovely woolliness. It’s been great, but it’s time to focus on something else. I’ve got some lovely crochet journaling patterns, and I shall be putting kits out soon. But it will all be new, because change is a great thing

We made a few chicks/ducklings (mine, mine was a duckling 😂 🐥) for that Daisy charity, so I hope they like them. Cheryl is sending them off, along with those made by her WI, so it’s all good. We’re closed on Wednesday, fyi, but here all the rest of the week as usual. I’m reorganising a bit atm, but the main part of the shop remains the same (it’s the bits I pretend you can’t see 😂)

A lady asked for the duckling pattern, so here it is, along with the info for the charity. They only want the chicks, so you have to eat the eggs yourself. I did my beak with crochet. Join to a st one to the right of where you want the beak, ch3, tr (uk) into the st where you want the beak, ch3, dl st into st one to the left of the st. Fasten off and sew in ends

Sorry folks - I have some car trouble today, so it’s being looked at. Just showing off the crème egg duck I made yesterday. There’s no egg in it, which is why he looks a bit puny. It’s for charity. We’re all doing them, so hopefully I shall have a parade to show off next week

We’re in the shop. Lexie is colouring and I’m crocheting the Harvest Moon block by . No reason. I just wanted to do something yesterday, so I started this with leftovers. We will see how far I get! We’re here till 2pm, so do pop by
