From “I need this” to “I’ll just make it.”

That’s the Thermomix TM7™ effect. ✨

I was doing an event the other day and had already made two loaves of bread and 25 bags of fudge for the guests. At 10:40pm, I said to the advisor who was helping me, “I’ll just quickly make some butter.”

It wasn’t until I heard myself say it that I realised how much my mindset has changed.

My 11-year-old decided to get creative in the kitchen today and made a Portuguese-inspired water bread with rosemary and grapes after spotting the idea on TikTok 🍇🌿🍞

But apparently there was also a “secret ingredient” added… which he refused to reveal 😂

This is one of the things I love most about the Thermomix. It gives children the confidence to cook from scratch. Weighed ingredients, guided steps, no juggling multiple appliances, and the freedom to experiment and be creative.

He’s confidently making and shaping dough, adapting recipes and proudly serving up warm homemade bread to the family.

Me and my Thermomix are just about to head down to for colour run. Come and support a great charity, come and say hi and check out the tasters I have made for you. Will be a great afternoon for parents and children alike.

One of the parts of this job I love most is being able to give back.

So far, I’ve donated 10 Thermomixes to schools, gyms, sports clubs and home ed groups in our community 🤍

But this time it was my turn (another part of the job I’m not complaining about 😅)

Tonight’s tea was this Butter Chickpea Curry with Cauliflower Rice… and wow 😍
My husband said it’s genuinely the nicest curry he’s ever had and all three children devoured it without a single complaint or reference to the fact that the rice was cauliflower rice-winning!

I often find myself craving this after making it with customers at their demos… and now I remember why! It’s just so good.

It’s also an all-in-one recipe, so really energy efficient too – everything cooking together, no extra pans, no faff 🙌

This is exactly why I love the Thermomix, proper, from-scratch meals, full of flavour, but so easy to throw together. No stress, no juggling pans, just press a button and let it do its thing ✨

Definitely going on the regular meal rotation in our house!

Such a lovely session with our home ed group this week 💛
There’s something really special about children learning through doing… and this one had it all. Curiosity, teamwork, confidence building (and a fair bit of taste testing along the way!).

We made:
• Fresh lemonade
• Fruity sorbet
• Broccoli salad
• Chickpea curry

From pressing buttons, to chopping, to proudly serving up what they’d made… it was amazing to see how quickly they got involved and how capable they all were.
And for the grown ups, it’s that gentle reminder that cooking doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or time consuming. With the right tools, it can actually feel calm, simple and even enjoyable.

Calmer kitchens, lighter mental load 💫
