As my next Indian container is about to be shipped I thought it might be interesting to see some comparison photos showing what can sometimes be a real leap of faith when I'm out there buying and then how the pieces look once they have made their way to the yard!
The last couple of photos is probably the most extreme version of this where I could only see the very top edge of one end of a piece that was completely buried under a mound of other stuff! To be honest I was probably getting carried away by that point and saying yes to crazy things but as you can see it's turned out really well, is much bigger than I expected and will look even better once fully finished.
Apart from that piece which is still in India due to a lack of space in my last container and the little two drawer desk which is still in the showroom everything else here has already sold I am afraid but I'll have lots more cool pieces in mid October!
