Roses ~ are they love them or hate them? I thought everyone loved them until recently….

This post is dedicated to my darling Carla Grande who threatened to cut them all out of her bouquet if I put them in too obviously ~ spray roses are just such a useful dried flower for pops of colour!

I am obsessed with them in all their colours and forms… saying that I’ve not bought any in for this weekend as I’m going off piste 🤣🌵?!

What do you think ~ are you a roses fan?

Dried flowers ~ I absolutely love them.

Sometimes when I do my pop ups children point at the dried flower bouquets and call them ‘dead flowers’ which makes me laugh…

My flower/plant obsession started in Barcelona where I learnt to grow beautiful things on my terrace and did my first horticulture course ~ I loved the whole process of cultivating plants from tiny seeds so when I started to do floristry I’ll admit I struggled with chopping them up 🤣!

My floristry instructor would shrug and say “we florists are the butchers of the garden”🤭💐!

Now when I see beautiful things I can’t help but want to cut them… but I’m starting another horticulture course in September so must remember how to behave!

Lately my camera roll and and my heart has been full of beautiful things 🌞🌻

Weddings and birthdays of people I love ~ being able to show up (did I mention alcohol-free 🤣) and bring the flowers 🌷 🌻

Watching the eclipse in the most beautiful flower field when I accidentally timed collecting flowers perfectly from Georgina Woof - Devon Flower Farmer 🙏

After swimming with a seal and a stranger 🦭

Meeting one of my favourite florists ~ I think you should totally meet your heroines 🤭🌸🌈
