A little summer splendour from Leah and Chris beautiful day with us in August.

And just like that it’s autumn 🍂✨✨✨

As per usual life is its usual wild ride of ups and downs, doses of sublime highs and a few little lows ~ but all in all I’m going into this beautiful season ready to embrace it all!

I have a few exciting workshops coming up including a witchy crescent floral moon on 31st of October with Emily Emu and a floral pumpkin collab with BLANK CANVAS on 17th of October ~ comment or DM for links or more info 💐🌙🧘‍♀️🎃

This weekend I have the most beautiful wedding coming up ~ a combination of fresh, dried and preserved flowers followed by a dried flower workshop on Sunday ~ eyes on stories 👀💐🧘‍♀️✨

Roses ~ are they love them or hate them? I thought everyone loved them until recently….

This post is dedicated to my darling Carla Grande who threatened to cut them all out of her bouquet if I put them in too obviously ~ spray roses are just such a useful dried flower for pops of colour!

I am obsessed with them in all their colours and forms… saying that I’ve not bought any in for this weekend as I’m going off piste 🤣🌵?!

What do you think ~ are you a roses fan?

Dried flowers ~ I absolutely love them.

Sometimes when I do my pop ups children point at the dried flower bouquets and call them ‘dead flowers’ which makes me laugh…

My flower/plant obsession started in Barcelona where I learnt to grow beautiful things on my terrace and did my first horticulture course ~ I loved the whole process of cultivating plants from tiny seeds so when I started to do floristry I’ll admit I struggled with chopping them up 🤣!

My floristry instructor would shrug and say “we florists are the butchers of the garden”🤭💐!

Now when I see beautiful things I can’t help but want to cut them… but I’m starting another horticulture course in September so must remember how to behave!
