This workshop is for those new to knitting socks as well as those who would like to learn how to knit in the round using double pointed needles (dpns). During the course of the day, we’ll practise the important components of top-down knitting socks including knitting in the round, turning the heel, forming the gusset and shaping and grafting the toes.

We will be knitting a baby / decorative sock in DK yarn, with options to include cuff, heel and toe in a contrasting colour. These techniques will enable you to knit socks of any size in any yarn weight.

Pattern and notes will be shared on the day, and full details of the yarn and needle requirements will be provided to you after booking.
