Some houses stop at the back door. This one doesn't.
At Walsham Wood House, the garden isn't an afterthought to the architecture, but a continuation of it. This structure, fitted with a full outdoor kitchen, sits at the edge of the lawn with the same discipline of line and material as the house itself: glass, dark steel, and full-height glazing that opens itself fully to the trees beyond.
It's built for the long evenings as much as the big occasions. Somewhere to cook, to sit, to let a dinner outside run later than planned because nobody wants to go back in. Grey egg barbecue lit, doors slid back, the woodland doing the rest.
