Weโ€™re looking for a Trade Counter Assistant to join the team at IBT Building & Timber (Merchants)

This is a customer-facing role within our busy builders merchant, helping both trade and public customers with their everyday enquiries and orders.

โ€ข Serving customers at our trade counter
โ€ข Processing orders and sales
โ€ข Helping customers with product enquiries
โ€ข Answering telephone enquiries
โ€ข Working closely with our sales, yard and delivery teams
โ€ข Helping to keep the trade counter running smoothly day to day

Weโ€™re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, confident dealing with customers and enjoys working as part of a team. Experience within the building materials industry or a similar customer service/sales role would be a great advantage.

Well after a really busy few weeks, few late nights and working a few weekend to try and complete all pre holiday jobs sadly didnโ€™t get to everyone but new dates issued and re booked, appreciate everyone patience, just the challenges of working on my own and having material delays and working around looking after the kids (family is alway the most important thing) thanks again to everyone and see you all soon, one wee funny story after a late finish yesterday and my great inability to chew my food almost resulted in me spending a night in hospital, but thankfully after me spending 3hrs trying to clear the blockage, one last attempt to take a drink outside a&e and I managed to clear it, what a start of the holiday that would have been ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿซฃ thanks again everyone ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ
