We are a small, Cornish based arts & crafts studio workshop. Our work & designs are inspired by where we live – by the sea... Our current small range of products are all individually hand-made & created with one aim in mind – to make people smile... As our name suggests, our energies are influenced by the local, notorious & villainous, pesky seagull characters... Sitting on the quayside one evenin

g, & watching their shenanigans, we could see why these locals have a bit of a reputation & we decided they were in some need of some PR intervention, so we created a cuter & more friendly seagull version – one that didn't actually pinch your chips!

What have you unexpectedly ‘shared with a pesky seagull ? I once had a whole sausage roll taken from my hand mid-bite just after leaving a slimming club - I think he was he was trying to tell me something …🤣 Here at Gully HQ pasties, ice cream and chips are always on the menu but we’re more than happy to customise your gull with whatever snack you’ve (reluctantly) shared ! And the best part? Snacks are always free with our pesky gulls… 😁

Inspired, designed and handmade in Cornwall. Our pesky papier-mâché gulls may look like trouble, but don’t worry - they’re very well behaved (mostly).
Each one is handmade using traditional papier-mâché techniques and our very own house-made papier-mâché clay, sculpted, painted and finished with a little seaside mischief.
They won’t swoop or screech in your ear, they will perch politely on their very best behaviour- a perfect reminder of those beach breezy days and the eternal struggle to protect your pasty.
Add a splash of humour and a little comical coastal decor to your home - because life is always better with a seagull ….

Possibly my favourite part of the whole seagull making process… adding the eyes (and the all-important eyebrows, of course)
It’s the exact moment each gull comes to life - and yes, I absolutely greet every single one with a cheerful little “oh hello”
They never fail to make me smile - even if they do look like they’re plotting something 😂
