It’s the Falmouth Sea Shanty festival starting tomorrow. It’s actually quite a big deal for our little town - last year the weekend drew in over 70,000 happy shantiers and many many performances across the town at lots of venues, pubs, restaurants gardens and hotels. Music in every direction, fabulous food and a friendly atmosphere. Come on down!

Simply stunning solid brass tapered cabinet k**b handcrafted in England, and Georgian era inspired, featuring a 16mm diameter ‘button’ k**b on a 28mm rose with reeded detailing. Finished in Soft Antiqued Brass, this unlacquered “living finish” is designed to age beautifully, acquiring a deep natural character over time.

For a consistent look, it can be easily polished to restore a shine. A rear-fixed k**b providing a refined, timeless accent for smaller cabinetry or drawers or even a little robe hook on the side of a piece of furniture. There’s something so pleasing about the proportions of this little hook/cabinet k**b.

A simple kitchen featuring our new British made soft antiqued brass handles and utility rail. The paintings are by and the custom frames in a soft black from located just around the corner from our showroom.

We’ve packed in some characterful ceramics - ethically produced colourful beakers from alongside some sophisticated neutrals.

The brass brackets are absolute best sellers and available in a variety of sizes and designs. They’ll dull down over the years gaining an authentic patina (unless you polish them).

We are seeing an uplift in polished nickel for front doors. A gleaming mirror finish with a warm tone of nickel (rather than a cooler tone of chrome) is proving to be highly popular at the moment and it’s easy to see why. Here are some of our favourite pieces. The products we have selected here are all finely cast in a British foundry and go on to be expertly finished over a number weeks - the solid brass body applied with a thick nickel coating. It’s a long process but the result is a product that will live for generations.

Time to say goodbye to our beautiful Spring window today. Giant crepe paper flowers painstakingly produced by Fliss : and the windows created with Laura. They’ve made a fabulous impact this past few weeks. We love playing with scale. 🌷

This stunning handle cast and finished in soft antiqued brass is actually a window lift designed to sit the other way up (for lifting/opening substantial sash windows)- cast from the original antique. We love the careful detail and gentle curved surfaces and turned edges, giving the feel and appearance of something that has been lovingly handled and polished over many decades. Its multi use functionality means you could use it in various parts of the home. British made.
