William Curtis Botantical / Flower original hand coloured copper engravings from the late 1700s. Guaranteed to be old. These are NOT reproductions.
These are all of the one's I have currently found in my collection from the 1700s only. There are 41 in total making up this mini collection. In total I have over 160 of these (that I have found so far).
These normally retail at up to about £40 each here in the United Kingdom not mounted or framed. If they are mounted and framed they do sell for quite a bit more each. Much higher prices are commanded in the U.S. where they sell unmounted & unframed for close to $200 each.
I did my best with the photos to show them as they are but please bear in mind I did take the photos under artificial light and whilst they are each in their polythene protective sleeves.
Each print measures approximately give or take 10 inches x 6 inches.
These make up a beautiful collection of William Curtis early original hand colour copper engravings.
FREE post within the United Kingdom. Payment is by bank wire transfer only.
For all 41 in this mini collection I am looking for offers around £500 which equals just over £12 each leaving you plenty of room to bank a profit on them.
If you only want one or two of them I can sell these individually for £20 each including FREE delivery within the UK.
Please note that the earliest William Curtis botanical in this collection is from March 1787 (almost 240 years old) and the latest one is from October 1799 (almost 225 years old).
These are the numbers in this collection: 7, 11, 14, 24, 31, 54, 55, 74, 82, 93, 103, 108, 131, 140, 141, 155, 167, 176, 181, 185, 210, 233, 253, 257, 258, 264, 271, 273, 274, 300, 306, 322, 339, 348, 353, 358, 368, 375, 382, 387, 457.
