Today, we raise our voices and hearts for those born with congenital heart defects (CHDs). 🫀💙 CHDs are the most common type of birth defect, affecting 1 in 100 babies born worldwide. While they may not always be visible, the impact is deeply felt by families and individuals.

👶 Did you know?

There are over 35 types of congenital heart defects!
Early detection through screenings can save lives.
Many people with CHDs live full, healthy lives thanks to advances in medical care.
On Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day, we honor the bravery of those living with CHDs, support the incredible healthcare teams who work tirelessly to care for them, and raise awareness for research and resources that continue to make a difference. 🙌
