If you are in Farnham, do go and check out Peter Gillespie’s work at the New Ashgate Gallery. Peter is one of the Making Matter’s team. He specialises in urban sketching, capturing the character and vibrancy of buildings and streets through freehand ink and watercolour paintings, deliberately avoiding the use of pencils or rulers. Many of his pieces are inspired by Farnham, where Peter has lived for the past 20 years.

At New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham GU9 7PS until 8th March.

Open Tuesdays - Sundays, 10am - 5pm
