Box of Whiffs

01/11/2026

Good morning everyone and a very happy 1st of November to you all! My gorgeous whiff shop is open 10-2 today. Lots of lovely gift sets and sponges and diffusers and bars all sat waiting for you. Yesterday was so busy, I loved every minute chatting to you all. Let’s see if Evie & Daisy can have the same lovely busy day. Thank you as always for loving the shop just as much as I do and for supporting me ######

Right, I’ve screenshot this image from a Whitby Facebook group tonight. Someone took this photo, looking up the harbour. They’re stood on the bridge with the bit where we all go crabbing on the right.

Now when I was a kid I remember one evening walking back to a Whitby fisherman’s cottage we were staying in with my mum, dad and brother. And I saw something in the water just like this. It was really dark but this thing hit the moonlight and was so white and huge. By the time I’d told my dad it was gone. So seeing this on a Facebook group tonight took me right back to that night when I was about 6 years old.

So what do you think it could be??? People on the original posters post are saying AI or a piece of wood. But I saw this exact thing 46 years ago!!! Anyone else seen anything like it or have any ideas what it could be??? This has taken me right back, I can remember absolutely sh****ng myself when I saw it. What do we think???

Do I look impressed???? Absolutely not, I don’t look impressed! And I’m not impressed. If you’ve ever met me you’ll know I’m never fecking impressed, ever, no days. So when I say Happy Halloween, I don’t mean it. But hope you’re having a good one. Love from the most miserable dog in the world, Nellie. Screw you all 🐾 😉

Some days you just think, wow I did this 🥹

What a lovely late night Christmas shopping evening. Thank you all so much for coming. And thank you all for coming through the day today. And thank you all for coming to my event. And thank you for all your website orders. And likes and shares on my posts.

Tonight, handing out proseccos, with the Christmas tunes on, and watching you all chat and shop, I paused for a bit and just took it all in. That shop was the happiest place to be in the world tonight. And I did that. I made that 🫶

Bit of quality time with this fella tonight at the cinema. Honestly don’t know what I’d have done without him these past few months. My absolute backbone and best friend. Now to try stay awake during the movie 🎥 🍿
