Dave’s latest restored piece , “ The Kiss”.
This Serpentine stone was badly scratched, had a wobbly base that could only lean against a support and was lacquered. Dave removed all the lacquer and rubbed it down , he carved the Lapine French Limestone, attached the piece with a dowel and marble glue and then spent hours polishing it with marble wax . The wax is so much nicer than lacquer.
It will be on display from the 30th June in our next gallery hire .
