Shawl by the pool! Started this in Malta and purposely left it to finish here but I’m not having a good time with it! I keep going wrong and having to unpick it. Then a monster of a hornet flew at me, stupidly I waved my hand and promptly threw my book in the pool! It’s drying, but still a bit soggy….. I think I’ll give up for a while and brave the pool! Happy Wednesday, whatever it is you are doing. 🙂x

After a few health issues and a re-evaluation of my home/life/work balance, I now realise that I am struggling to make things work for me both mentally and efficiently and its tough working alone! The shop is so busy and going from strength to strength, classes, workshops and gatherings have made a busy, happy, lovely, calm, safe and creative environment and its my ‘happy place’ for which I am extremely grateful for. So after chatting to friends and customers, I have decided to slightly change my opening hours, which will hopefully provide badly needed continuity and structure for me but if it doesn’t work, I’ll have a re-think! So, enough waffle, as from July, the shop will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and the first Saturday of the month, all from 10-4 and I will keep posting the new hours just as a reminder. That said, as many of you know, Alba lives here too so I am at Saddlesdane every morning so if you are desperate for that ball of wool or that set of needles, ping me a message or give me a ring and I will do my very best to open up for you. Thank you for your understanding and support, it really does mean a lot…. Xx🙂
