A few heartfelt words of gratitude before the new year kicks off 🫶

We're still open every day but I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year before it gets too manic.

Well what another great year it's been, I couldn't be any happier with how it's going so far at The ARK

Although i advertise like crazy for hours a day, (sorry if that annoys you 🤣) not everyone knows about us yet, but plenty of people sharing via word of mouth and advertising is helping with that. We have the most amazing community already and welcome anyone to join us.

Thank you to the below very special people who have joined The Ark family and helped to make it was it is 🫶 ......

❤️To the very talented local Crafters who also sell in the shop

❤️To the amazing teachers and friends who share their knowledge and teach the workshops

❤️To the Crafty Buggers who meet each week and have a laugh while crafting away and are happy to help with any project

❤️To my customers who are so lovely and friendly , those who buy yarn, craft supplies, clothing, who support my crafters or enjoy tea and cake.

❤️ To the Breast Friends Cancer Support Sewing group the time, money and love you all give every month to make drain bags, heart cushions and so much more for the patients for atleast 3 different hospitals in the region each one of you is an absolute super star 🌟 💪

❤️To all the amazingly artistic Pottery Painters, your imagination is unreal and i love seeing your masterpieces come out of the kiln.

❤️To the Local small businesses who join me at the Suffolk Craft and Creators Markets at Harvest House. Such a special place which makes it so unique and not like anything else around.

❤️To my online customers and followers, thank you for sharing, liking, commenting and supporting me with all my posts, it really does help to get me noticed.

❤️To family and friends that have helped with my journey so far and continue to support me and put up with me.

❤️ and lastly thanks to The Ark family who help me run this beautiful shop, it really is a dream come true and being able to share it with the best staff is truly special 🥰

The icing on the cake to finish off 2025 was receiving the Highly recommended award for Best New Business in the Small Business Awards. Totally shocked but receiving that recognition makes all that hard work worthwhile to know i must be doing something right.

I hope by being kind and supporting others you'll help to make a 2026 a great year.

🥱Well I'm now sitting down after an amazing weekend of fun at The Christmas Suffolk Craft & Creators Market at Harvest House.

I would like to thank you all for being part of such an amazing 2 day event this weekend. The community that we have built up over the last few years is so special, we have many regulars and welcome many new friends too 😊

I am so grateful for all the support from everyone, as always. I couldn't have done it without you all, traders, family, friends and of course visitors too, not only at the event but also covering the shop too 🫶.

We would also like to thank Harvest House for opening its doors to us again. Such an absolutely stunning location for us to be able to showcase the extremely talented crafters from near and far.

We look forward to seeing you next year, dates to be announced soon.
