🚧 TRAVEL UPDATE – TODAY’S CLEANS 🚧

Dear customers,

To everyone booked in today,

We had at least six cleans scheduled around the Copdock area, with the remaining jobs spread across the town. Unfortunately, due to the Orwell Bridge closure following a fatal accident this morning, it simply isn’t financially sustainable for us to carry out today’s round.

As frustrating as this is for us and our customers, we are fortunate enough to be able to turn around and head home, because sadly, someone else won’t be. Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by this tragic incident. ❤️

📩 Rescheduling update

You should have received a notification from me this morning with your rescheduled date, which will be within the next few days.

Most of you have already seen and responded to our early notification, but we wanted to post this update here as well, just in case anyone hasn’t seen our message yet.

As always, thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support. It really does mean a lot to us.

🚐 WE’RE BACK ON THE ROAD! 🎉

After 2 weeks off the road, which has honestly felt like forever, our van is finally back up and running — and we’re raring to go again! 💪🧼

A huge thank you to all our customers for your patience and understanding while we’ve been dealing with the van troubles.

If you were expecting us over the past couple of weeks, you should have received an update regarding the delay. Rest assured, now we’re back up and running, we’ll be working hard to catch up on all outstanding window cleans, gutter clearing and other jobs over the next week or so.

We really appreciate your continued support and patience, and we look forward to getting back to business as usual! ❤️

🚨 Vehicle Update – Important Customer Notice 🚨

Dear Customers,

Just a quick update regarding our van and the ongoing problems we have been experiencing.

Our vehicle was booked into a Vauxhall main dealer today for diagnosis. We originally tried to get the van there ourselves on Sunday, while the roads were quieter, but unfortunately we were unable to move the vehicle.

The AA attended on Sunday and carried out a few checks. They found one minor problem, which was fixed at the time, and everything appeared to be good again.

We have managed to work all day today without any problems and the van has behaved perfectly throughout the day.

Unfortunately, on our journey home this evening, she decided to misbehave again! 😩

Luckily, we were only a stone’s throw away from the Vauxhall dealer, so we managed to get her there safely — and that is where she will now remain until she can be properly diagnosed.

She is officially booked in for Thursday, when hopefully we can finally get to the bottom of what is causing these problems.

I can only apologise for any inconvenience this may cause with your cleans & guttering jobs. Unfortunately, the situation and any resulting delays are completely out of our control, but we will do everything we can to keep disruption to an absolute minimum.

If you have a booking with us this week, I will contact you personally with an update. I will also keep everyone updated once we know exactly what is happening with the van.

🚨 IMPORTANT CUSTOMER UPDATE 🚨

Dear Customers,

As some of you already know, but we wanted to make everyone aware, unfortunately our van has developed a fault and has produced multiple fault codes. We have also temporarily experienced issues with the power steering and braking system, meaning the van is currently unfit and unsafe to use.

The van has been briefly inspected by an independent garage, who we have every confidence in. However, due to the possibility of an ECU fault or an electrical issue, it now needs to be properly diagnosed by a Vauxhall main dealer/manufacturer specialist.

Unfortunately, they don’t have availability until next week, which means we have had no choice but to temporarily suspend some of our work for a few days.

Thankfully, we had already set aside a few days in October to catch up on administration and accountancy work. We will now use those days to catch up on the cleans & guttering jobs that we have been unable to complete this week.

The good news is that no work or revenue will be lost. We will simply move the affected cleans & guttering jobs into those available October dates.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we get this sorted. This is completely outside of our control, but we will be liaising with everyone affected and doing our very best to get you rescheduled as soon as possible.

Another successful day – mission completed! ✅
Today we visited Manningtree/Mistley to carry out a full gutter clearance before heading over to Ipswich for another gutter clearance job.
Wow... we haven't seen gutters this bad for quite some time! 😲
Both guttering systems were completely full, with the side beneath the solar panels (which had no mesh guards fitted) packed solid to the very top. Even our gutter vacuum running on all 3 motors was struggling with the volume of debris.
For safety and efficiency, we brought out the ladders and stand-off system to remove the majority of the debris by hand before using the gutter vacuum to clear the remaining material.
All downpipes were also blocked. Although downpipe guards had been fitted at some point, they had certainly seen better days and had largely disintegrated.
Following a full clearance and airflow test, everything was flowing perfectly again and good to go. ✅
The amount of debris removed was incredible:
• 1 gutter vac collection drum filled completely to the brim, causing the machine to activate its safety shut-off.
• 3 black bin liner bags filled with debris.
Another two satisfied gutter clearance customers! 😊
Our second gutter clearance customer also requested a full clean of the windows, frames, sills and doors. Thanks to the team carrying out a completely satisfactory clean, we've gained another regular customer onto our cleaning round. 👍
We then headed to another Ladbrokes betting shop which we've never cleaned before — and, come to think of it, it looked like no window cleaner ever had! 🤣
After a good scrub, the windows were restored to their former glory, with management requesting a regular 4-weekly cleaning service going forward. 🪟✨
A busy day, plenty of happy customers, and more regular work secured.

We are a local exterior cleaning company and, like many window cleaners, gutter cleaners, pressure washing businesses and valeting companies, we rely on ultra-pure water for our work.

At the moment, our nearest Spotless Water filling station is in Ipswich, meaning we have to make a round trip whenever we need to refill. A Felixstowe station would save local businesses a huge amount of time and travelling.

✅ Approximately 10ft x 8ft of space
✅ Enough room for customers’ vehicles to pull up and fill

The station would provide 24/7 access to pure water, similar to existing Spotless Water stations around the country.

£350 REWARD is being offered for a successful site referral once the station is live.

The owner/company providing the chosen location would also receive rent for having the station on their site.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from anyone who owns or knows of:
