An orangery extension to provide a sociable entertaining space adjacent to the dining room at this project in Farnham. Orangery design and build by the brilliant this was such a fun project to work on for lovely clients whose brief was to create a comfortable and welcoming space for guests, we designed the layout and organised all the interior design and freestanding furniture too. The lovely Berkeley Crosby coffee table was handmade along with the drinks unit in Felsted by our superstar cabinetmakers.

A super renovation project in Chigwell where we relocated the kitchen to what was the sitting room and created a large open plan kitchen and dining space with a soft seating area. The hardest working and most loved room in the house everyone walks in and says wow this is so lovely ☺️ excellent build finish as ever by Browne Construction Limited whose sites are always completed to the very highest standard 🙏

This is very much the hardworking back kitchen of the house, designed for serious cooking and entertaining. At its heart is the AGA, alongside a generous prep table with Wolf warming drawers concealed within, a huge scullery run, dresser and plenty of space to prepare everything from shooting lunches to big weekend dinner parties. The walk-in pantry leads directly through to a walk-in fridge - scroll to the last pic to see this - keeping ingredients, serving pieces and provisions close at hand while leaving the main kitchen free for family and guests. With so much cooking happening here, prep space was key, hence the scale of the central table and the amount of worktop throughout. It’s a room designed for those wonderfully busy country weekends when the house is full and there’s always something cooking. Autumn is coming 🍂 | 📸 Paul Craig
