The pantry is a standout feature of the Victorian rectory project. Originally existing but in need of reworking, it has been cleverly redesigned by the HM design team. A bulkhead covering the stairs to the cellar was neatly hidden, and a reduced depth step makes the space more usable. The moody colour palette and stocked shelves feel luxurious yet practical. Details such as continuing the hallway wall colour as the ceiling finish in the pantry create a natural design flow through the house. The client’s favourite space? The pantry. “It’s just so much better than before and so enjoyable to use now,” they said. | 📸

We send many of our tables across the world to different customers, you don’t need to have an HM project to order a table - have a look on the website for sizing and pricing of the most requested options but do get in touch if you’d like something more bespoke. Most popular at the moment are tables with natural stone inlays like quartzite or a complete marble top with bullnose edge for a super sleek and cool finish to the dining space. The world is your oyster at HM, we only use the very finest oak sourced from the best mill in Europe and all the furniture is made by hand at our workshops in Felsted, Essex so you can come and see us and see your order being made. The really nice thing about HM is that we are a small company but we are mighty and we have great people who are so passionate about what they do. The Lexington dining table is a design classic by and looks incredible here finished in Berkeley oak - a bespoke finish to HM. Our tables are available to all and can be customised in size as they are all handmade to order at our workshops in Felsted, Essex. We love this Lexington table paired with the Mortimer dining chairs upholstered in performance fabric. Perennials is one of our favourite companies to work with for durable and low maintenance upholstery as they have a beautiful range of fabrics in many finishes, textures and patterns. | 📸
