For enquiring minds.... It takes roughly 2 weeks to complete these beauties.
Step 1. Mix the plaster and polymer bang around to remove the bubbles, leave for a few minutes and repeat
Step 2. Pour into moulds in stages so it doesn't bulge in places and allow 2 hours for each pour to harden a little.
Step 3. When full leave for 5 days to fully set
Step 4. Remove from mould carefully
Step 5. scrape and sand out any imperfections from the casting process. Repair any bubble holes with clay
Step 6. Leave for 2 days to fully dry out
Step 7. When totally dry put black base coat and leave at least an hour to dry
Step 8. Complete paint design of your chosing
Step 9. Apply yacht varnish glaze and allow to dry overnight
Lool it rarely goes smoothly and no 2 are the same but it's a labour of love and mindful work. So ooo if you want to order for gifts beware of the time it takes. Love and light )0(
