Happy Saturday, everyone! 👋

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, enjoying some family time away from the workshop, but I’m back to share a couple of my latest creations! 🔨🌳

These two cherry wood corner shelves were made to order using locally sourced timber. Each piece has its own unique grain and character, making them truly one of a kind.

📏 One measures 15” and the other 10”.

These were made as a commission, but if you’d like something similar made for your own home, I’d be more than happy to help!

So here's our excuse to tell you 8 things about Beard & Grain Woodwork...

1️⃣ Handmade in Kinloss, Moray
2️⃣ Every piece is made by hand
3️⃣ We love Scottish timber
4️⃣ No two pieces of wood are ever quite the same
5️⃣ We make everything from chopping boards to furniture
6️⃣ We do commissions
7️⃣ We probably have far too many bits of wood lying around 😂

Made to measure. Literally to the millimetre. 📏

A recent custom build for a very happy customer, a solid pine log store/storage unit, designed specifically to fit this space.

When you’re building something bespoke, it’s all about getting those measurements just right… and this one was literally a mm-perfect fit! 👌

Designed, built and finished by hand using natural timber, with plenty of space for the logs and a handy shelving area above.

And judging by the customer’s photo, it’s looking right at home! ❤️

This spalted beech & sapele clam shell box is handmade from beautiful Scottish timber, with the contrasting sapele running through the lid.

A lovely little piece for keeping jewellery, keepsakes, or whatever little treasures need a home.

This one is still available and patiently waiting for someone to take it home!
