This is crazy last-minute but I’m doing it anyway ! 🤪
I’ve just driven back from Paris.
I spent a week there of all work and no play, but I did manage to buy a whole load of gorgeous new autumn stock and really want you to see it!
It’s a thinly veiled excuse for a party …but I need one after the week I’ve had!
So do please come along tomorrow evening and join Alannah and I for a glass (or two) of prosecco and a mooch through the beautiful things ♥️
The dining room will be filled with rails and you’ll be welcomed with bubbles and nibbles from 6.30-8.30pm.
And of course if you can’t make it tomorrow night, then be sure to drop by on Sunday market day from 10-4pm.
But after that, we need the dining room back!

What a great night we had for the launch of Fabulous Frome’s glossy new magazine!
Communa was the perfect venue , with appropriately fab friends, food, drinks and music to make it a night to remember!
Do grab a copy of the magazine if you can. They’re distributed around town, and there’s still a copy on the counter here if you’d like it.
You’ll find all sorts of local interest stories and articles inside….plus a special Autumn fashion feature from Deadly Is The Female and Popicoq ♥️🍂🍁

I’m going down to the woods… next weekend… can you join me?

Wonderment in the Woods is taking over the beautiful Wasing Estate in Berkshire for four days of music, dancing, theatre and storytelling, woodland banquets, saunas and swims — plus all sorts of workshops for getting creative and doing you good.
I’m going to be there on Saturday making woodland headdresses with flowers and fabric and foraged foliage 🍁🌺🍂

It’s organised by the Fabulous, inimitable and unstoppable Chris Fitchew - I need say no more!

In his words …

Have you heard this excellent news!
There is a brand new magazine in town called « Fabulous Frome » - packed full of fantastic articles, great photos and local stories.
And what a wonderful surprise to see Popicoq’s sultry assistant on the front cover!
The brilliant powerhouses behind it all, Becky Percival and Daisy Steel got in touch, and to my delight, Popicoq is part of their Autumn fashion feature alongside the utterly glamorous Deadly Is The Female .
We had a proper photoshoot and everything!

This happily coincided with a visit from Paris of Maddie and her friend, Gladys…both of whom scrub up rather beautifully!
But more of them later. 🖤

Amandip is an incredible cook and she is hosting a feast at Communa on Thursday night.
I’m really disappointed not to be able to go… but if you can…do!
You’ll be in for a culinary treat.
It’s being held indoors at Communa, so the weather can do what it likes.
I’m adding some of my saris to Amandip’s beautiful collection … and we’ll be hanging them from the ceiling to add a little opulence!
It promises to be a wonderful evening - I’m jealous of those of you who get to go… and am secretly hoping she’ll save me some leftovers !

One way or another, if you’re around tomorrow, be sure to hotfoot it to Popicoq!
The new collection is frankly fabulous… and you can you enjoy perusing the rails with a complementary glass of bubbles 🥂🤎🍁🍂🥂What’s not to love!
