I've finally started designing & making again. I haven't done much since selling the shop as I've been concentrating on other things, but it's a start, with more to follow in the next few weeks. This one is a 5 strand necklace in shades of turquoise & gold with a 2 inch extender chain, so you can adjust it according to your neckline. I'll be making these in lots of different colours at a special introductory price of just £16.

I've never made a trifle before, so this was fun.

Last weekend, we made a dash up to North Wales for a couple of days. I've wanted to visit Portmeirion for ages and it didn't disappoint. I'd like to have explored inside some of the buildings, but unfortunately most of them are holiday lets (selfish!) I need to make a point of watching The Prisoner now.

It seems my last post regarding Google reviews, bothered someone, so I have taken it down. I'm not an unkind person as this person hastily judged me to be. It's very easy to judge, when you have absolutely no idea of the history that has gone before. Yes it's perfectly legal to continue using my reviews, but to transfer those reviews outside of Google, still requires the express permission of the original poster and I have always been keen to protect my customers identities. And to take credit for someone else's work is disingenuous. I'm moving on now with a clear conscience.

Over the last three months, several of my lovely customers have approached me and complained that my old shop (I am not allowed to speak it's name!) just isn't the same. I have therefore come to the decision that on the 23rd October this year, I will be opening another bead and jewellery making shop. I have a brand name which is currently under wraps, but I'm very excited about getting this new project underway. At this stage, it will be online only, but we'll see how things develop. I have 9 months to get things set up and ensure I have plenty of great stock, but watch this space for updates. Lots of love, Kathryn x
