is the name of this beautiful stained glass Yoni sun catcher. It is designed to represent ‘period blood,’ words society has made women+ feel ashamed of. ​



I am honoured to have been chosen to help support the campaign highlighting 40 words related to women+'s health that are being censored. Would you believe 'period blood' is currently being pushed further into a dark and shameful place where using them on social media you can get shadowbanned and posts hidden or taken down? ​



We all need to shout out and be proud of who we are and how women+’s health affects our daily social and work lives. I would like to see workplaces have policies that help women during times when period blood and menstrual issues affect us, as with any other physical and mental health needs. ​



As a perimenopausal woman I feel strongly about talking openly, honestly and without shame about a natural biological process that affects all of us. Join me ladies in being a part of bringing us out of the shadows 😄
