Sadly, there won’t be a Little Scrapstore opening for independent market-goers this Sunday, as our team will all be enjoying some well-earned family time (and probably eating far too much chocolate! 😂🍫)

There will still be plenty of opportunities to visit Little Scrapstore on Tuesdays, and again at the next Independent Market on 3rd May.

We’ll send a reminder about times closer to the date, but if you’re looking for family-friendly fun during the Easter holidays, the Scrapstore team will be running FREE spring craft activities at the Key Centre Café on 9th and 16th April🐣🌸

You can pop into our Little Scrapstore every Tuesday from 2–4pm to see the transformation !! It’s a fun place to be, and we’d love to welcome even more people through the door 😊

The Little Scrapstore relaunches after community support

A scrapstore nestled in the heart of Frome has relaunched following a community effort to reorganise the space.

The Little Scrapstore, run by The Pod Charity, had been closed for two months. During that time, an army of volunteers and Frome Town Rotary helped transform the space, giving materials a second lease of life. Many items were generously donated by Sydenhams.

Mayor Cllr Anita Collier attended the reopening last month to see the revitalised space beneath Frome Museum on Justice Lane.

The Pod Charity manager, Sue Paxton, said, “The result is a calmer, more organised space that is not only more appealing and accessible for customers but also better suited to support the adults with additional needs who are working and learning within the Scrapstore."

How exciting! We’ve loved hearing all the busy moving upstairs in the Frome Museum while we’ve been beavering away downstairs 😂

We’ll be reopening our Little Scrapstore under the Museum next week too – perfect timing for a visit to both! See you at the Frome Independent Market on Sunday 1st March, 10–3 ♻️

A massive thank you to everyone who’s popped in with kind words and encouragement while we’ve been buried in boxes, it’s kept us going more than you know 💛
