Industrial Electrical Supplies or I.E.S Lincs Ltd was formed in 1996 and began trading from their 600sq ft unit in Thornton Street Gainsborough. The base of our business was the food industry and the core of our work was control and automation products. With a rapidly expanding customer base the decision was taken to double the size of the premises so we took on the unit next door to house more

stock to meet demand within our first year . Our aim was to source and supply a wide range of products that we could turn around as quickly and reliably as possible. Business continued to grow and in addition to food factories we were now supplying an increasing number of panel builders, packaging companies and contractors from around the county.Lighting design was soon to be another area of growth for us working alongside our partners Principal lighting. In order to get better buying power we then decided to look at joining a buying group and that is where the AIEW came in ,this enabled us to then look at the domestic market. We can now cater for most areas of the electrical industry ,ranging from wiring accesories, lighting design ,inverters, control equipment,distribution, and special cables. Full technical advice is part of the back up that we offer with some 50 years of experience behind us.
