As mentioned in our previous post, this year we are only selling Maris Bard premium Scottish seed potatoes.

Maris Bard are a first early variety and are a good all-rounder.

All potatoes come netted and are great value

Good morning to all our followers.

As the seasons are changing we are ready to start again on Seed potatoes.

Unfortunately this year a lot of the Scottish suppliers have experienced problems with the crop resulting in shortages across the industry. This means I won’t be able to offer the range that I did last year.

I have decided to focus on first early potatoes this year, at this point we will be only selling Maris Bard potatoes.

They will be available at the prices below
1kg for £2.50
2kg for £4.50

As the weather starts to warm up we all start to thing about getting the garden cleaned up and begin preparing to plant our spring bulbs and vegetables.

VITAX SLUG GONE WOOL PELLETS
Wool pellets are a perfect way to keep slugs and snails from helping themselves to you plants. Wool pellets are placed at the base of you plants and when watered breakdown to form a metallic barrier. They also contain essential nutrients. These come in a 3.5ltr bag and are only £5.50.

VITAX GROWMORE
Growmore is a multi-purpose fertiliser, perfect for all plants. We have these is 1.25kg & 2.5kg for £4.50 and £6.50.

VITAX CLAYBREAKER
If you want to condition your soil without affecting its natural pH then Clay Breaker is formulated to do just that. It will break up even the heaviest clay, improving friability and making the soil easier to work as well as improving drainage and enhancing the soil for crop growth. It can be used at any time of year. This is sold in a 2.5kg box for only £7.50.

AGRALAN ENVIROMESH
Protect your vegetables and soft fruit from a range of insect pests, birds, rabbits and the weather. Keep out cabbage root fly, carrot fly, cabbage white butterfly, pea moth, leek moth, cutworm, onion fly, leaf miners and many species of aphids. Agralan Enviromesh will last 10-15 years with care. Stocks are limited on this fantastic product. Prices start at £13.50 depending on size.

Thank you to all that have placed orders for veg plants. They will be collected on Saturday 16th March, so, can all payments please be made by Friday this week (15th). I have spoken to our grower and the order can be added to until Thursday. If you or anyone else you know may want something please feel free to tag away.
