Finally found the thread I’ve been searching for for so long! It’s from Spain and really hard to find in the UK. At just 0.2mm thick, it’s one of the finest threads you can crochet with. I’ve been desperate to get my hands on it so I could make miniature dolls. Who knew a little ponder round Rochester was all I need to do, purchased from Hometown Fabrics - Kent.

I’d love you to meet Momo the Monkey 🥰

I was incredibly lucky to be chosen to pattern test him for Chiacrafts ahead of his official release today. Chia is a hugely talented crochet designer based in Amsterdam, and her patterns are always phenomenal—this one was no exception. Check her out on Instagram!

This project really pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I couldn’t be prouder of how Momo turned out. It’s been such a rewarding experience from start to finish.

Look at this adorable Easter bunny with her little egg! 🐰🥚💛

Sophia, one of the young girls at crochet club, followed a pattern independently and created this beautiful bunny. When her mum and I were chatting, we realised today was only her third session—on her very first visit, she hadn’t crocheted at all. Fast forward just six weeks, and she’s already making amigurumi!

I really hope Sophia feels proud of herself, because this bunny is beautiful!
Watching all the young people at the group grow in confidence and creativity is so special—they are all so talented. I feel very lucky to be able to teach and support them on their crochet journeys! ⭐️

Freya brought a beginner’s crochet kit to group yesterday and tackled a half treble and treble crochet — not easy stitches! She absolutely smashed it and should be so proud of herself.

Can’t wait to see what else our teens create at club! ❤️
