Apologies for the C word, but now’s the last chance to not upset the in-laws and impress your siblings this Christmas… 👀

If a new kitchen is part of the plan for this year’s hosting, now is the time to get moving.

The Walsham Project was designed as part of a new open-plan family room, creating a kitchen that flows naturally into the rest of the home. Rich indigo cabinetry and warm copper details give it plenty of personality, while the open layout makes it feel like somewhere people can gather, eat, chat and spend time together.

And the finished result got a pretty good review too:

“I absolutely love my new kitchen, it’s so stunning.”

If you’re hoping to be hosting from a new kitchen this Christmas, this is your last chance to start planning.

This island started with a very practical brief: make better use of the space and create room for six to eight people to sit together.

For our Hartlip Barn Project in Sittingbourne, the previous T-shaped island was reimagined as part of a darker, contemporary kitchen designed to work as a more inviting social space.

From the first sketch to the finished kitchen, this is how an idea on paper becomes part of everyday life.

These are the real things that matter when you plan your kitchen… 👀

Luckily, every Ream project is planned around your home, your brief, and the way you live.

Our designers look at how you live, what you love, and what the room needs to make it possible, then shape the layout, storage, materials, appliances, and finishing details around your brief.

Whether that means a calm family kitchen, a statement space for entertaining or simply better storage and flow, the finished room should look beautiful, work naturally and feel personal to your home.

And throughout September, The Ream Design Event offers 20% off kitchens & interiors for new September enquiries.

The Forge Project in Maidstone was designed around the part of a kitchen you notice long after the photographs are taken: how it feels to live with every day.

A place for busy mornings, cooking, catching up and everything that naturally gathers in the heart of the home.

Here, warm worktops and olive cabinetry give the kitchen an inviting feel, while practical storage helps keep everyday essentials organised and easy to reach.

(Easily keeping it clutter proof, too!)

And if this has you thinking about what could work in your own home, The Ream Design Event is now on, with 20% off kitchens & interiors for new September enquiries.

Your September reset could look a little like this… with four very important members of the household giving their approval. 🐕

The Snodhurst Project in Walderslade was created as a contemporary open-plan space that could make a statement while still feeling warm and welcoming.

Scivaro Slate cabinetry brings the drama, balanced by Calacatta Gold quartz, herringbone flooring and cognac tones. At the centre, the bespoke raised breakfast bar helps separate preparation from the more social side of the kitchen, although we suspect the dogs have their own preferred spot. 🤫

So, if you’ve spotted something you like, you’ll be happy to know that the Ream Design Event offers 20% off kitchens & interiors for new September enquiries.

This is easily the kind of kitchen that makes you want to spend a little more time at home.

The Esplanade Project in Broadstairs is jam-packed with details… such as the soft Stone-painted Shaker cabinetry and Calacatta Grey quartz worktops to the bespoke mantel framing the Rangemaster.

At the centre, the curved island creates a natural place to sit, chat and spend time together.

Look a little closer and you’ll spot the herringbone flooring that helps the kitchen flow naturally into the adjoining living and dining areas, making the whole open-plan space feel very much connected!

If you can picture something similar in your own home, The Ream Design Event is now on, with 20% off kitchens, bedrooms, utility rooms, home offices and media walls throughout September.

Could this be the September you finally start planning your new kitchen?

The Ream Design Event runs throughout September, with 20% off kitchens, bedrooms, utility rooms, home offices and media walls. T&Cs apply.

If you’re thinking about a new kitchen, a good place to start is our Gillingham showroom. With over 6,000 sq ft of interior displays, you can explore different styles, finishes and ideas in person and talk through what you want from your space with the Ream team.

From there, you can arrange a free design appointment, where one of our designers will work through your ideas and requirements before creating a full-colour computer-generated design to help you visualise the finished space.

So if a new kitchen is on your list for 2027, September could be the time to start making those plans a reality.

The Ream Design Event is on from 1–30 September.
