And that's a wrap.

Made the final cuts on the big logs today, a project I've been working on for *just* shy of a year.

It's been slaved over, fretted about, neglected, abandoned completely, slashed in half, reinstated, admired; it's had quite the life. And it's only just been born!

There are a lot of things, serious and silly, that I could say about the big log block, but I'll save them for another post. For now I am having a pint in a spoons in Edinburgh, about to enjoy a weekend of merriment.

It's been a blast, big logs. Please play nice when I introduce you to your new friends, ink and paper. Til we meet again (next week).

Current work in progress.

At the 'this is pants' stage, flirting with the 'I am pants' stage. But it's grand. We are all pants sometimes.

So vividly picturing the new idea I've had that I'm struggling to focus on this one. A common ailment I'm sure! Anyone else got a rampantly fidgety brain?

After over six months, I've returned to this silly big block, chopped it in half and am chipping away, hoping to get it on paper by next week.

There was a time I thought I wouldn't be able to come up with any more designs incorporating pressed flowers other than my original 'Mother'. I was wrong :)
