Bank Holiday Monday in the sunshine……. And I’m indoors tackling the glamorous side of interior design - sample housekeeping!

The never ending job of organising fabrics, keeping tidy, accessible and easy to browse through for future schemes.

Odly satisfying though! 🤪it turns out there is something quite calming about putting beautiful colours and textures back into order again.

Moody, Masculine Bedroom Design.

The stage in a project where the ideas start to become something tangible… and this is one of my favourite parts.

This week has been all about samples arriving, and laying everything out. The next stage is the editing, refining and really thinking carefully about the client brief.

For this bedroom scheme, the vision is a dark, masculine palette for a young adult male — layered charcoal greys, warm linens, rich textured fabrics and deep timber tones, all with a subtle nod to that timeless Ralph Lauren aesthetic.

The challenge is never just choosing beautiful individual pieces… it’s about selecting materials that work cohesively together, balancing texture, tone and warmth to create a space that feels effortlessly considered.

A lovely visit to a returning client last week, looking at the next phase—fireplace restoration, new blinds, and a few added layers…

But I couldn’t resist capturing this corner from last year’s scheme.

Wallpaper, paint, soft voiles, lighting and carefully chosen pieces, all settled beautifully over time.

It’s not just about the transformation—it’s about creating spaces that still feel right, long after the work is done.

Every project is a reflection of the people who live there — their tastes, their history, their story.

A moment of reflection on this scheme, where alongside considered fabrics, bespoke window treatments and carefully layered finishes… there was one non-negotiable: space for the jukebox.

Because truly successful interiors aren’t just beautifully composed — they are deeply personal.

It’s always a privilege to create spaces that honour both.

This week’s sunshine has had many of us turning our attention outdoors… ☀️

And it’s not just interiors I can help with.

From sourcing beautiful outdoor fabrics and trimmings to refreshing tired garden furniture, a few considered updates—new cushions, updated upholstery, layered textures—can completely transform your outside space into somewhere you genuinely want to spend time.

Whether it’s a full scheme or simply elevating what you already have, your garden deserves just as much thought as your interiors.

If you’ve started looking at your outdoor space a little differently this week… you’re not alone.

Thinking of giving your garden a refresh? I’d love to help—just drop me a message or email to get started.
