I had the pleasure of displaying these giant paper poppies for a wedding on Saturday at the iconic Cottiers in Glasgow.

The bottom of my giant flowers were decorated a gorgeous display of real flowers, and I think you'll agree, the completely elevate the display.

Can't wait to create more show stopping backdrops this summer. 😍

Spring Bridal Bouquet

This Spring paper flower bouquet had a huge range of handmade flowers in gorgeous pastel shades.

Instagram vs reality.

The finished photos look so pretty… but behind the scenes? A whole different story. 😅

The Buchanan Studio project took ages, and at one point my entire house turned into a forest of giant paper Narcissus. 11 of them, each 1.5m wide, hanging from every spare ceiling space.

Then came the 72 petals I had to hand-cut and laminate one by one. They had to be dried on multiple clothes horses around the house.

Shipping was its own saga. I had to hunt down bicycle boxes to pack everything, and when the van finally arrived… it wasn’t big enough. Of course. 😂

But honestly? Seeing it all come together made every late night, every paper scrap on the floor, and every logistical nightmare completely worth it.

Here’s to the magic behind the madness, and to projects that stretch us in the best possible way.

I can’t believe it’s already been a year.

I was commissioned to create these giant narcissus flowers to decorate Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.

The hanging pieces ranged from 1m to 1.5m, and making ten of them in my house was definitely a challenge.

I also had to create another twelve stems, each with three flower heads. My home basically transformed into its own botanical garden.
