We recently revisited a project completed nine years ago, and we are pleased to report that the floors remain in excellent condition.

We are now conducting maintenance to ensure their longevity for many more years.

The oak herringbone flooring was specially distressed to achieve our signature "reclaimed look." This process involves meticulously distressing the edges and marking the surface of the boards to replicate the appearance of century-old flooring. Additionally, the boards were face-pinned during installation, making the pins visible, which reflects traditional fitting methods.

Our "reclaimed look" can be applied to any of our timber boards.

With our unfinished oak floors, you can choose the colour & finish after it is fitted. It is a big decision so there is no rush, we always suggest looking at samples at night with artificial light too.

Very unique project where we supplied and fitted a brass detail strip around the perimeter of our oak herringbone floors, part of the spec was to match the client's brass ironmongery; With a bit of chemistry, we managed to dull down the brass for an almost identical finish, the brass was then given a coat of lacquer to protect the finish and colour. All mitres were hand cut, we found electrical saws were too aggressive for a smooth enough finish. As you can imagine, it was time consuming but the end result was very special.
