✨ Wall Boxes - Here’s How to Prevent Expensive Repairs! 💸

Cracked tiles can be a nightmare, especially when Wall Boxes are installed incorrectly. If positioned too close to the shower, hot water can pool in the box, causing tiles to overheat and crack. Not only does this ruin the look of your bathroom, but it can also lead to costly repairs! One of our recent clients spent £1,2,00 fixing this exact issue.

Here’s how you can prevent Tile cracking:

1️⃣ Place Wall Boxes Strategically – Install them as far from the shower as possible. If that’s not feasible, at least ensure they’re well-protected.

2️⃣ Slope the Wall Box Base – This ensures water drains out naturally instead of pooling inside.

3️⃣ Use Moisture-Resistant Materials – If budget allows re-sheet the walls with moisture-resistant plasterboard and tank the wet areas for extra protection.
