Meet My New Estate Agency Assistant… Linda 🤖🏡

Could we ever be replaced by robots?

After watching the brilliant BBC comedy Ann Droid, I started wondering… perhaps I should introduce you to my new Estate Agency Assistant — Linda! 😂

AI and technology are already incredibly useful in property. They can enhance photographs, virtually stage homes, write property descriptions, organise emails, book appointments and help keep us on track.

But could a robot actually replace an Estate Agent?

I’m not convinced.

Property is ultimately a people business.

You can research a property online, view hundreds of photos and even take a virtual tour — but when it comes to making that decision and putting your money down, I believe people still want people.

Someone to walk through a property with you.
Someone who knows the local area.
Someone who understands what you’re looking for.
Someone who can negotiate, reassure, listen and sometimes simply say, “I know exactly what you mean!”

AI can certainly enhance what we do, but experience, relationships, local knowledge, empathy and human connection are much harder to replicate.

So Linda, you’re very welcome to join the team… 🤖

But I’m keeping my job for now! 😂

✨ What a great night with hosted at House of Champions – an incredible business space designed to support businesses of all sizes. 💼🏆

Tonight was all about the ladies networking and celebrating the power of the collective. 💜 Being bold, meeting new people, stepping outside our comfort zones, and just fecking doing it! 💪✨

There’s something so inspiring about women lifting up women, sharing great conversations, motivational stories, and building genuine connections. 🤝💫

“Ah yes… the mighty Mercedes-AMG.
To some, it’s a masterpiece of engineering… a roaring beast built for speed, power, and adrenaline. 😮‍💨🏎️💨

Car enthusiasts fall hopelessly in love with these machines… and honestly, I can see why. The noise alone sounds like thunder arguing with itself. 😂🔊

But for me?
It’s basically a luxury shopping trolley that arrives at the sofa & cushions shop very quickly. 🛋️🛍️✨

Yes, the car has 700 buttons, 14 driving modes, mood lighting, launch control and enough gadgets to keep my man entertained for HOURS… 🤓🚗
…which works perfectly because it keeps him busy while I’m inside deciding whether the cushions should be cream or “slightly darker cream.” 🤍😂

Fast car? Absolutely.
Dream car? For him, yes.
For me… it’s just shopping in style, darling. 💅😎”

I’m really pleased to share that I’ve recently joined Dandara Jersey as a Property & Office Coordinator 🏡✨

For those who may not know, Dandara Jersey is a leading, award-winning private house builder, creating high-quality homes and communities across the island and in the UK— and I’m now getting a behind-the-scenes look at how it all comes together 👷‍♀️🔑

My property addiction continues — from working with investors in Glasgow to now in Jersey! This role is an exciting new chapter, as it’s my first time working for a house builder… so I’m finally seeing what “from bricks to keys” really looks like (and yes, I need to resist taking photos in every show home, especially the balcony views 😂).

Two weeks in, I’m settling in well, getting to know a brilliant team, and enjoying the chance to see some beautiful homes being rented and sold. Safe to say, I’m right where I want to be 🙌 …though I still have to sell my first Jersey property!

Looking forward to learning more and continuing the journey.
